Coaching Approach
As a coach, Cynthi serves her clients in multiple roles: as a partner, coming along side as they consider challenges and potential solutions; as a sounding board, supporting them as an objective listener; as a guide, who sees the bigger picture with possibilities and potential; and spark, helping to trigger their commitment and action. Cynthi helps senior leaders in small to mid size companies in Southern Arizona bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Experience
She has served in numerous management positions with organizations such as McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now Boeing), California Institute of Technology, The University of Arizona, Tucson Airport Authority, and National Charity League, Inc. As an independent consultant she has worked with clients such as Concordia University, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Azusa Pacific University. Her projects have included leadership development, behavior coaching, performance management, career coaching, contract training, facilitating team building retreats, conflict management, and culture change initiatives.
Education and Certifications
An alumnus of Loyola Marymount University, Cynthi holds her MBA and an alumnus of Northern Arizona University, she holds her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management. In addition, she is an alumnus of Claremont Graduate University’s Advanced Management Program, where she had the privilege of learning directly from Peter Drucker. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. She is a Certified Executive Coach with the Center for Executive Coaching and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through International Coach Federation (ICF). She is a certified coach in Red Team Thinking, Systemic Team Coaching, and Navigating Transitions. She is certified with two 360 Assessments: The Leadership Circle Profile and Lead Now! and is Five Working Genius Certified.
